1. Record the listing and the business behind it
Keep the full URL, seller or shop identifier, platform, product description and date of observation. Record business information that is publicly available. A screenshot without context may be difficult to connect to the responsible seller.
2. Keep the transaction trail together
If a sample has been lawfully purchased, preserve the order, payment record, communications, shipping label, parcel and product packaging. Record who received and opened the parcel. Keep the sample identifiable and avoid altering it.
3. Confirm the right and the comparison
Match the alleged use to the relevant China trademark and goods or services. Assemble authentic-product reference material and explain the specific differences. A suspiciously low price alone is not proof of infringement.
